One of several Boston City Hall exhibits Sand designed, most likely for the Kevin White administration. Michael often stacked empty cardboard boxes with text and graphics mounted to various sides, which he affectionately called “Sand boxes,” to create budget-friendly, easy-to-assemble exhibit displays.
