Project description
“In 1974, Sand was hired by Boston 200 to develop the centerpiece of Boston’s Bicentennial celebration, the conceptual plan for the exhibit at Quincy Market. Heading a team of 22 historians, researchers, writers, media specialists, space planners, designers, and craftsmen, Sand developed the schematic design for a 12,000 s.f. exhibit in which visitors were invited to play their part in events leading to the American Revolution.”
